The Story
About Croft Interiors
In 1986 I started working as an Apprentice Joiner/Installer at hs interiors - one of the north of England’s leading interior design studios. At hs I was very lucky to learn off people who were very good at what they did and cared passionately about the finished product. In the early years we mostly installed kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms. But as tastes and expectations changed, we began to do full house refurbishments, layout alterations and looking at the way we could make the way you ‘live better’.
During my time at hs I worked all over the UK meeting some interesting people on a variety of different projects. We would regularly attend the Ideal Home Exhibition in London, where I would project manage the construction of the stand for Jacuzzi UK, which was a real eye opener. I was also involved in delivering a complete service on a variety of different scale projects to meet customer requirements. This can be very hard work but very rewarding when complete. Furthermore, having the opportunity to work with a variety and specific medians such as: German-designed kitchens, bespoke hand-made kitchens, marble and granite, ceramics, Amtico and Karndean flooring plus all of the leading bathroom products gives you the confidence to design and produce that unique look.
In 1999 I finally went self-employed, carrying on the good work and establishing a name for myself. A lot of the initial work would be sub-contracting, but also developing my own customer base at the same time.
Although things were good I was always looking to do something different.
In 2006 we moved to Scotland and have been here over 12 years now. Things aren’t as intense living in Argyll as in the city, but I have managed to work on a lot of further interesting, varied projects and met some lovely people. I have a lot of local references and customers only too happy to reassure you that you would be making the right choice. Having a growing family myself, I understand everyone’s needs are different and change as you get older. Whether it is a bathroom for a family, a kitchen for a couple or somebody just trying to utilise the space available, I offer a diverse, unique styling delivered to a superior standard and always strive for customer satisfaction.
Thank you for taking the time to look at my page. If you would like to have a consultation please feel free to telephone, email or message. I will happily answer any queries.
